Having honed their people skills as bartenders for many years, owners Maria Cristina and Bruna always knew they had to own their own business. Both being image conscious, social butterflies and ambitious almost to a fault, they knew the beauty industry was a perfect fit. Foreseeing the transformation of the trendy King Street West neighbourhood, the girls found a space and created their beauty oasis—Ritual. Almost immediately Ritual became a hit. A cool, fun place to get your services or tan, and socialize with the hip King West crowd. All the while the girls held court, masterfully working the crowd like seasoned bartenders.

With the recent addition of Ritual2 in July 2006, Bruna and Maria Cristina continue to expand their beauty endeavour proving it doesn't matter what your background is, hard work and the right team can take you a long way!
